\ud83d\udd26 Value-Based Health Care (VBHC) as part of the CAS ETH in Digital Clinical Trials<\/h1>\n

In our recent hybrid workshop, as part of our module on digital study design, we were excited to welcome Verena Voelter, MD<\/a>, author of the book “It Takes 5 to Tango” and CEO & Founder of 5P Health Care Solutions. Her expertise in VBHC provided profound insights into the future of healthcare.
\n\ud83d\udca1 Verena began by addressing the core issues in healthcare, highlighting the differing objectives and interests among various stakeholders. She emphasized the challenge of aligning on a common purpose and the necessity for stakeholders to share risks. Discussing current incentives like Fee-for-Service (FFS) versus the need for VBHC and Patient Reported Outcomes Measures (PROMS), she pointed out the importance of follow-up care and enhancing health literacy among patients.
\n\ud83c\udf1f Verena shared compelling examples and case studies, concluding the seminar with a discussion on the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in advancing healthcare solutions and overcoming existing barriers.
